Mobile Deposit Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to be enrolled in Online Banking and Mobile Banking before I can use Mobile Deposit?

Yes. You would need to first enroll in Online Banking by calling us at 833-536-1712. Once your Online Banking account has been activated, you will need to log into the system and navigate to the Account Options tab and click Mobile Settings. You would need to complete the information on that screen.

  • Do I have to sign a form to enroll in Mobile Deposit?

If you enroll in Online Banking through our website you can indicate on the enrollment form that you wish to enroll in Mobile Deposit. You will need to complete the Mobile Banking enrollment steps (described above) in order to use the Mobile Deposit option.

  • Is there a fee for Mobile Deposit?

For personal accounts there is no charge. Business customers will be charged $5.00 per month if you deposit 1 – 10 checks and $10.00 per month if you deposit 11 – 20 checks*.

  • Do I need to endorse the back of the check?

Yes. In addition, you need to write “For Mobile Deposit Only”.   This signifies the check was processed through a mobile device. 

  • When will a Mobile Deposit be credited to my account?

Deposits made by 4 p.m. on a business day will be deposited the same day. Deposits made after 4 p.m. on a business day will be processed the next business day. Mobile Deposits will not be reflected in your account balance until after the bank’s nightly updates are complete.

  • Are there limits to the number of checks or dollar amount I can deposit through Mobile Deposit?

Yes.

Personal Accounts – Daily: 3 checks/$2,000, Monthly: 10 checks/$5,000

Business Accounts – Daily: 5 checks/$5,000, Monthly: 20 checks/$20,000*

*Business Customers – Please talk with a branch representative about our Remote Deposit Capture solution if you need to deposit more than 20 checks per month.

  • Can a Mobile Deposit contain more than one check?

No. Each check will be a separate deposit into your account.

  • How will I know if my deposit was successful?

You will receive a deposit confirmation message if the deposit was successfully processed.
